Product Introduction
The F96-SZT Automatic Quasi-Synchronization Indicator is an S-meter that integrates synchronization indication and automatic parallel operation. It can be activated when the generator starts successfully and needs to be put into parallel operation. It measures the phase difference between the generator to be paralleled and the system, displaying it through 36 red phase difference indicator lights. Simultaneously, it measures the frequency of the generator to be paralleled relative to the system frequency and automatically adjusts the generator's speed to ensure the frequency difference between the generator and the system is less than a certain set value. At a certain instant before the phase difference between the generator and the system reaches 0°, it issues a main switch closing command, achieving automatic synchronization between the generator and the system.

The F96-SZT Automatic Quasi-Synchronization Indicator is an integrated synchronization indicator (S-meter) that combines synchronization indication and automatic parallel operation.
1. Technical Performance The S-meter operates normally when the system voltage variation is within ±(10±2)% of the rated voltage and the frequency difference between the generator and the system is less than 3Hz. * Voltage lockout range: ±(10±2)%
* Frequency difference lockout range: 0.1~0.3Hz (Recommended setting: 0.19Hz)
* Closing command lead time: 60ms~300ms (Recommended setting: 140ms)
* Acceleration/deceleration pulse width: 200ms~600ms (Recommended setting: 300ms)
* Output contact load capacity: AC250V, 12A (resistive load); or DC30V, 12A (resistive load).
2. Function Description
* The dial has 36 red phase difference indicator lights evenly distributed on the front. The red indicator light at the 12 o'clock position indicates a phase difference of ±5°, and the others are spaced 10° apart in sequence.
* A green "Power" indicator light (PQWER) is located in the upper left corner of the dial to display the operating status of the S meter. * A red "Voltage Lockout" indicator (△U) is located in the upper right corner of the dial. This indicator illuminates when the voltage difference between the generator to be paralleled and the system exceeds ±(10±2)%.
* A green "Deceleration" indicator (f-DOWN) is located at the 3 o'clock position on the dial. This indicator illuminates when the frequency of the generator to be paralleled is greater than the system frequency, and a deceleration command is issued simultaneously (passive normally open contact).
* A green "Acceleration" indicator (f-UP) is located at the 9 o'clock position on the dial. This indicator illuminates when the frequency of the generator to be paralleled is less than the system frequency, and an acceleration command is issued simultaneously (passive normally open contact).
* A green "Synchronization" indicator (SYNC) is located at the 12 o'clock position on the dial. This indicator illuminates when the frequency and voltage differences between the generator to be paralleled and the system are within the lockout range, and when the phase difference between the generator to be paralleled and the system is close to 0° (within the lead time design range), and a paralleling synchronization closing command is issued simultaneously (passive normally open contact). *The rear cover plate has a setting knob with 7 positions for the closing lead time, a setting knob with 7 positions for the frequency difference interlocking range, and a setting knob with 5 positions for the acceleration/deceleration pulse width, as detailed in Figure 7.5; the closing lead time settings are shown in Table 3, the frequency difference interlocking range settings are shown in Table 4, and the acceleration/deceleration pulse width settings are shown in Table 5.
Note: Settings "5", "6", and "7" on the acceleration/deceleration pulse width setting knob are used for the self-test of this S-meter.
