Bronze Swiing Check Valve

Bronze swing check valve: Check valve, also known as one-way bronze swing check valve or check valve, is used to prevent the medium in the pipeline from flowing back. The bottom valve for water pump suction and closing also belongs to the check valve category.

A valve that relies on the flow and force of the medium to open or close itself, in order to prevent the medium from flowing back, is called a check valve. Check valves belong to the automatic valve category and are mainly used in pipelines with unidirectional flow of media. They only allow media to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.

Bronze swing check valves can be divided into three types according to their structure: lift check valves, swing check valves, and butterfly check valves. Lift check valves can be divided into two types: vertical and horizontal. Swing check valves are divided into three types: single disc, double disc, and multi disc. Butterfly check valves are straight through, and the above types of check valves can be divided into three types in terms of connection: threaded connection, flange connection, and welding.

The installation of bronze swing check valves should pay attention to the following matters:

1. Do not allow the check valve to bear weight in the pipeline. Large check valves should be independently supported to prevent them from being affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.

2. During installation, pay attention to the direction of medium flow that is consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body.

3. Lift type vertical disc check valves should be installed on vertical pipelines.

4. The lifting type horizontal disc check valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline.
