Product Overview
F72-S Synchronizing Indicator — Description: Electronic Light-Emitting Synchronoscope. I. Electronic Light-Emitting Synchronoscope: This synchronizing indicator utilizes an LED-based display method to indicate the frequency difference and phase difference between two generator sets intended for parallel operation. 1. The indicator operates normally provided that the system voltage remains within ±10% of the rated voltage, and the absolute value of the frequency difference between the generator awaiting synchronization and the system is less than 2 Hz. 2. The power consumption of the indicator is less than 3 VA. 3. The resolution of the indicator lights is 10 electrical degrees per light. 4. When synchronizing, the measurement switch for the operating generator must first be closed; at this point, the 36 indicator lights on the faceplate will appear in a random state. Subsequently, close the measurement switch for the generator awaiting synchronization; the indicator lights will then begin to rotate, with their rotational speed and position indicating the frequency difference, phase difference, and relative direction between the two generators. 5. The indicator features 36 lights arranged in a circular pattern, with each light representing 10 electrical degrees. The light positioned at the top center (the 12 o'clock position) corresponds to 360°; notably, the green indicator light is synchronized with the light at the 12 o'clock position. 6. When the frequency difference between the operating generator set and the generator set awaiting synchronization is less than 0.2 Hz, and the phase difference lies between 350° and 360°, the green indicator light at the top will illuminate; at this point, the generator set awaiting synchronization is ready to be connected to the grid for parallel operation.

F72-S Synchronoscope Description:
Electronic LED Synchronoscope
I. Electronic LED Synchronoscope
This synchronoscope utilizes an LED-based display method to indicate the frequency difference and phase difference between two generator sets intended for parallel operation.
1. The synchronoscope operates normally provided that the system voltage remains within ±10% of the rated voltage, and the absolute value of the frequency difference between the generator awaiting synchronization and the system is less than 2 Hz.
2. Power consumption of the synchronoscope is <3 VA.
3. The resolution of the indicator lights is 10 electrical degrees per light.
4. When synchronizing, the measurement switch for the operating generator must first be closed. At this point, the 36 indicator lights on the faceplate will appear in a random state. Next, close the measurement switch for the generator awaiting synchronization; the indicator lights will then begin to rotate. The speed and position of this rotation indicate the frequency difference, phase difference, and relative direction between the two generators.
5. The synchronoscope features 36 indicator lights arranged in a circular pattern, with each light representing 10 electrical degrees. The indicator light located at the top center (the 12 o'clock position) corresponds to 360°. A specific green indicator light is synchronized with the light at the 12 o'clock position.
1. Application
This series of meters consists of analog-display, direct-acting electrical measuring instruments. They are used in various AC/DC power transmission and distribution systems, control panels, and electrical equipment to measure electrical parameters—such as AC/DC current, voltage, frequency, power factor, and insulation resistance—as well as for synchronization indication. Additionally, they can be utilized for the electrical measurement and indication of non-electrical quantities in other systems.
2. Technical Parameters
2.1 The measuring mechanism of this meter series employs either a magnetoelectric system with taut-band suspension or a magnetoelectric system with a pivot-and-jewel bearing structure. Taut-band Suspension: The rotating assembly is friction-free, ensuring reliable operation and high resistance to mechanical shock. The pivot-and-jewel structure—featuring a spring-loaded bearing system to cushion and dampen the moving parts—utilizes high-hardness cobalt-tungsten alloy for the pivots and corundum jewels for the bearings, thereby endowing the instrument with exceptional resistance to vibration fatigue, mechanical shock, and wear.
2.2 The instrument features an integrated design that combines the transducer circuitry with the indicating mechanism, resulting in high measurement accuracy and a wide deflection angle.
2.3 This series comprises moving-coil instruments characterized by a highly linear scale and immunity to external magnetic fields. All models feature printed dials—including color-coded scales (using colored lines, bands, and numerals)—ensuring clear graduations and a clean, aesthetically pleasing dial face.
2.4 This series of electrical meters offers a comprehensive range of options; in addition to standard electrical measurement specifications, it includes various specialized instruments such as expanded-scale meters, overload meters, single-scale meters, control-signal meters, and instruments designed for the electrical measurement of non-electrical parameters.
2.5 All instruments featuring a zero-point reading are equipped with a front-mounted zero-adjustment knob, allowing for convenient and flexible zero-setting.
2.6 Featuring a standardized physical design, the external dimensions of this instrument series are based on a modular unit of 12. The square-faced profile ensures an attractive appearance while facilitating convenient layout and installation within control panels and cabinets.
