Product Overview
45L9-BMΩ AC Power Grid Insulation Monitor: This instrument is designed to monitor and provide alarms regarding poor grounding conditions within a ship's AC power grid. 1. This instrument is used to continuously monitor the insulation resistance between the ship's hull and the electrical circuits within an ungrounded AC power distribution system (up to 500V). It emits audible and visual alarm signals whenever the power grid's insulation resistance becomes abnormal—specifically, when it drops below the alarm threshold value configured on the instrument. 2. The effective measurement range of this instrument is 0.005 to 5 MΩ. It features four selectable alarm threshold settings: 10 kΩ, 30 kΩ, 60 kΩ, and 100 kΩ. 3. The output capacity for external alarm signals is DC 24V/3A or AC 220V/1A. Terminals 4 and 5 serve as the Normally Open (NO) contacts, while terminals 5 and 6 serve as the Normally Closed (NC) contacts. 4. Once properly wired, switch on the power supply; the power indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the instrument has entered monitoring mode. The pointer on the meter now indicates the current insulation resistance value of the power grid. 5. The alarm threshold can be configured as required by adjusting the red setting pointer to the desired resistance value. When the power grid's insulation resistance drops below this set value, the instrument will output an alarm signal, and the red alarm indicator light will illuminate. Once the insulation resistance returns to a normal level, the instrument will automatically exit the alarm state. 6. Within a single power grid network, it is strictly prohibited to operate two or more insulation monitors (or other similar instruments) simultaneously to measure the insulation resistance of that same network. 7. To verify whether the instrument is functioning correctly, a self-test procedure may be performed. Upon completion of the self-test, it is mandatory to return the instrument to its normal operating state.

45L9-BMΩ AC Power Grid Insulation Monitor
The AC Power Grid Insulation Resistance Monitor is an instrument designed to monitor and provide alarms regarding poor grounding conditions within a ship's AC power grid.
The position of the pointer on the dial directly indicates the current insulation resistance value of the power grid.
6. Within a single power network, it is strictly prohibited to operate two or more insulation monitors (or other similar instruments) simultaneously to measure the insulation resistance of the same network.
7. To verify whether the instrument is functioning correctly, a self-test procedure may be performed. Upon completion of the self-test, it is mandatory to return the instrument to its normal operating mode.
Note: The measurement range of this meter is 0–5 MΩ. The rated operating voltage is AC 220V.
